Lamb & Sourdough Dinner

North Bowery, 350 W Center Street

• Lamb chops, sourdough scones, lemon rice, watermelon, corn on the cob, salad, jello cup, and drink are all included.

Dinners are $15 per person (all ages)

Corn Hole Tournament

Northwest corner of city park, 350 W. Center Street

$20 per team ($10 per person)

Lamb Pit Preparation

Behind old City Hall, 250 W 200 N

• Bring a camp chair and watch as the hot coals are removed that have been heating up the lamb pits. Lambs on a spit are then lowered into the pit to cook overnight.

Kids Movie

• Bring a snack and a camp chair or blanket to watch a family friendly movie (no concessions or drinks sold during movie).

Ewe Stampede Fun Run & Walk

• Registration & awards are at east side of city park.
• Shirt and bib pickup is Friday, July 17 from 6 to 8pm on the northeast corner of the park.

• Pulled lamb sandwich on a hamburger bun — pit-cooked underground overnight

Mutton Bustin'

• Unfortunately, due to economic conditions caused by the rough winter (lack of water) / feed in short supply, mutton bustin' is on hold this year. Currently working to bring it back in 2027.

Saw Dust Dive

City park, 350 W Center Street

• Kids and adults dig through a pile of sawdust shavings for candy and coins

Fireworks

Best viewing from the softball outfield facing south

• Fireworks are shot off from the elementary school parking lot. Best viewing area is from the softball outfield facing south. Patriotic music provided by softball committee.
